Dr. Richard Rowan has been working as a Board Certified orthodontic specialist providing the best orthodontic care for patients in the Merced and Mariposa areas since 1982. Dr. Rowan's experience as an orthodontist is coupled with genuine concern for his patients. All of our staff is dedicated to your comfort and prompt attention with our primary goal to help you to achieve a healthy and bright smile.

Dr. Richard Rowan was raised in the Merced area and has a strong attachment to this community. He and his wife Debra enjoy raising their six children and now spend time with their five granddaughters. By coaching numerous baseball and soccer teams as well as serving in a variety of church, school, and community activities over the years Dr. Rowan has shown his love for the opportunity to live and work in the Merced and Mariposa communities.
Dr. Rowan comes from a long line of dental professionals, all which practice various dental specialties in the area, with a combined total of over 165 years of service!
Our practice is dedicated to the children, youth and adults of Merced and Mariposa counties with orthodontic needs. We strive to provide quality care at a reasonable cost, always keeping in mind individual service. Every patient in our practice is unique and deserves individualized attention and care.
